Over the years, we’ve partnered with the Red Cross, supported veterans, encouraged active communities, and provided global disaster relief. PARTNERING WITH THE RED CROSS
LifeWave began partnering with the Red Cross in 2005, providing financial aid to victims and relief workers dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In 2009, we became an official Red Cross Storm Partner, directly serving as a resource during times of disaster. In this capacity, LifeWave provides both financial aid and product support, working directly with the Red Cross to help communities prepare for local catastrophes.
SUPPORTING THOSE WHO SERVE
LifeWave has been a long-time advocate of veteran causes. As such, we’re proud supporters of the Purple Heart Veterans of Florida, Inc. Polk County, Florida has one of the largest veterans’ populations in Florida. Our product donations to them, with a retail value of more than $2 million, have included patches that relieve stress and pain and improve sleep.
LifeWave has also partnered with Voice of the Vet, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise awareness of the ongoing struggles many veterans face and improve quality of life for those veterans.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE OF GIVING
Using his skill in product development and innovation, David Schmidt and his team have invented a new technology that will allow LifeWave to respond to natural disasters and political unrest with record speed. Once complete, this drone will be able to transport nearly 300 pounds of supplies to areas of need worldwide.
DONATING TO GLOBAL DISASTER RELIEF
LifeWave helps communities when they need it most. When towns in Japan, Germany, and Italy experienced extreme flooding in 2009 and 2021, LifeWave donated product and money through local Red Crosses.
ENCOURAGING WELLNESS
In 2021, LifeWave got its Ireland employees on the move raising money for COPE Galway, an Irish charity that works to combat the ravaging effects of homelessness and domestic violence. The not-for-profit also provides essential services to needy elderly people who can no longer fully care for themselves.
And again in 2022, LifeWave’s employees around the world stepped up their fitness game by stepping out. This year’s winning group, also from Ireland, will designate a local charity of their choice for LifeWave to make a $10,000 donation.
